I Love Fall
Fall has always been my favorite season. Maybe it's because I'm an October baby. Maybe it's because I don't do well in the extreme heat of summer or the frigidness of Canadian winters. Maybe it's because I think Halloween is the most fun holiday (and the idea of getting a bunch of free candy as a kid made the day that much better). But ultimately, I think fall is the most creative and inspirational season. Between the changing colors, the options for self expression with clothing options, the delightful dishes made with seasonal produce, and the growing number of art and craft events featuring such a beautiful array of small businesses cropping up as we approach the holiday season, Autumn always feels like such a magical time!
I spent the last weekend of fall with my family, fiancée, and future in-laws in Quebec admiring the stunning changing leaves, the whole scene felt like a comforting Hallmark movie and it was the perfect refresh before diving fully into my favorite season. No Matter the season I find different times of year will always have an impact on my art and I'm excited to see what kind of influence this autumn has on what I create.
